Here's the third group of season previews. Follow me on Twitter @michaelsobrien for more. Coaches, please send any info on your team to mobrien@suntimes.com.

Carmel: The Corsairs went out and got a very good coach. Tim Bowen was the defensive mastermind behind Waukegan the past three seasons.

Carver: 6-4 SR Deshawn Delaney is one of the state's hidden gems. JR Michael Howell is a player too. They could be a surprise force.

Cary-Grove: NW Herald readers named the 2001 team the best team in their area in the 2000s. Good team, but didn't even make state.

Chicago Academy: New coach Randy Stonewall is hyping FR guard Jeremy Williams. Also got 2 top players back: Conner Hooper and Darrick Scott.

Chicago Christian: At least 6-4 at all 5 spots. Led by 6-6 Adam Lindemulder, 6-5 Jason VanderLaan and 6-5 guard Dan VanGroningen.

Chicago Math & Science: 6-3 FR starter Jajuan Jackson will team with 4 returning starters including brothers Jonathan and Brian Barbee.

Chicagoland Jewish: 15-11 last season, haven't been able to get any info on this season.

Christian Liberty: Another fail. They finished 14-10 last season, but don't even have a coach listed.

Clemente: Dropped to the Blue. Will be led by three transfers, O'Neal Gates, Greg Turner and Kendall Harrison. Follow @osetag22 for updates.

Coal City: Coalers have a new coach (Brad Boresi), a new gym and and a new Thanksgiving tourney, featuring Morris, Gardner and St. Bede.

Collins: 12-6 overall and 6-3 in the Blue-West. Finished fourth, so another year in the Blue is ahead.

Conant: Tom McCormack (the only coach I know that practices before school) is back for his 26th season. Always well-coached and dangerous.

Corliss: Coach David Keys says they will win the Blue-South. Led by 6-5 Devonte York, athletic junior getting DI looks.

Crane: Underrated Kieran Woods is back and people are talking about FR Marlon Jones. Also watch 6-9 Crete-Monee transfer Kaylen Shane.

Crete-Monee: Loaded with Jamie Crockett, JR Mike Orris and SO Marvie Keith. Injury to 6-8 SR Greg Mays is a huge setback though.

Cristo Rey: Christian Mendoza (9 ppg) and Noe Macias are back from last season. Cristeros were 4-19 last season.

CL Central: Promising summer, lost to North Lawndale by only one point. Led by Joe Pijanowski, Chase Cane and Jake Chrystal.

CL South: 4 out of 5 starters back, including Kevin Rogers (13 ppg) and Ethan Breitenstein (9 ppg).

Curie: 4-year starting PG Greg Travis, a #UIC recruit, is back. Sophs won city last season. Watch 6-8 FR Cliff Alexander.
