Marty Maciaszek of the Daily Herald is reporting that an MRI performed on Payne on Wednesday revealed a pair of stress fractures in his L3 vertebrae have not healed and it will be another month before he is able to play.

Sorry to heat this. I'm sure this is rough on Mr. Payne, not being able to finish out his senior season with his teammates, competing. I'm sorry we won't get to see him play any more high school basketball. Congratulations on a great high school career and best of success in college.
