ok, so you have LWE, JCA (who Providence should always play based on 6A) and the usual suspects. Just assures them getting into the playoffs with playoff points as even the lesser teams get points for beating up smaller catholic schools. It's no doubt the toughest schedule out there (so far)and I commend them for it for school that recruit. But if you and Sako would get off the "Providence/JCA/Mt. Carmel/St. Rita Love Train" for a week and look at schedules that teams like Hinsdale Central and Wheaton South threw out there this year (in a down year for one of them ended 8-2 but beat the beloved JCA with no questions asked; what's wrong with that picture?), you would wake up to the fact that there are other non-8A schools who will play tough schedules if others would play them. Again, if people will play them...I like what you are saying about Providence. It's just too often and without respect to others willing to take on real games (not the Hope Academy teams of this world). So good on Providence for playing tough. I hope that doesn't keep them from the 6A playoffs (which they wouldn't have won this year like predicted; in fact, they wouldn't have beaten St. Francis this year as their win over MC was a fluke on a crappy weather night).
