New Julian basketball coach

Plenty of confusion going on with the Crane job. Anthony Longstreet won't be back, but the Tim Anderson rumor hasn't been confirmed and I'm hearing that it isn't the Tim Anderson that played for Manley, but the Tim Anderson that played at Crane with Will Bynum in 2001.
The Zee-Bees, with highly-recruited soph Lenzelle Smith, have joined the field at Proviso West for next season. The 16-team field has not been finalized yet, but Zion-Benton replaces Morgan Park.
In other holiday tournament news, Waukegan has replaced Jacksonville at Pontiac, which would be a major addition to the tournament if Jereme Richmond sticks around.
According to Rivals.com, Crane guard Dion Dixon gave an oral commitment to Cincinnati today. He was on campus over the weekend and went to the Cincinnati-Providence game.
"Making a commitment to a high major school like Cincinnati is a sign that all my hard work finally paid off," Dixon told BearcatLair.com. "They want me to come in play the 2 and the 1, as a combo guy, who can play either spot."
