InsideCarolina.com broke the story. Here's the Raleigh News and Observer's take on the situation: http://www.newsobserver.com/sports/college/unc/story/709830.html

As of this afternoon, Shumpert himself was unaware of the controversy. He did mention that of the former Tar Heel players, only Sean May encouraged him to attend North Carolina.
