Homewood-Flossmoor's Kevin Dillard to Southern Illinois

The Meanstreets guard gave an oral commitment to Chris Lowrey and the Salukis on Thursday night...

Dillard, a 5-10 point guard, probably has a higher national profile than local one. His stellar play at Kingwood and Boo Williams this spring had his name on the tip of everyone's tongue.

Thursday night he made his choice and became the fourth player in the class of 2008 to head to Carbondale, joining Chris Parrish of Riverside-Brookfield. Dillard visited the campus over the weekend.
