Hales, Young, Farragut and Washington are the top contenders for preseason #1 honors. Looks like the Spartans will get a chance to prove themselves very early in the season:

Oak Hill (Va.) vs. Hales at 7:30 pm
Scott County (Ky) vs. Young at 9 pm
Lexington Catholic (Ky) vs. Simeon at 10:30 pm
