Montgomery gave Northern Iowa an oral commitment Monday night after a weekend visit. He chose the Panthers over Northeastern and Cleveland State.
"It's a nice academic school and I really liked the campus," Montgomery said. "They have a lot of the things I was looking for. It's going to be a good fit for me."
Montgomery is the third Lincoln Park senior to pick up a scholarship, following Michael Thompson (Northwestern) and J. J. Henley (Wisconsin-Green Bay).

About the only big-name all-stater that hasn't committed (I don't think) is TF North's Demond Watt. Michael or anybody else who might know, could you inform us where he's probably going?
