A real test for the Ramblers...
Leo is unranked and 9-6, but the Lions have as much talent as any team in the state. They will be a man down tonight though. Reliable sources say sophomore point guard James Pointer, a starter, has either quit or been kicked off the team.
Stan Simpson, Leo's 6-9 center, will provide a huge matchup problem for Loyola. If Simpson plays well and Kevin Woods and Tony Topps get hot from outside, the Lions can pull off the upset.
Loyola is undefeated and they beat Hales back in December, but other than that they haven't faced much competition.
If you're planning on going to this game, get there early. Leo's gym is one of the smallest in the area, it is going to sell out quickly.
Check out Morton(Berwyn-Cicero)Mustangs (boys sophomores). They are 13 and 2 and have easily defeated all of the teams you always talk about.
