We'll see where the area's top uncommitted senior is headed in nine days.

The Hubbard running back has returned from the US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio and he told Edgy Tim that he plans to announce his college choice Jan. 16 at a press conference at his high school where his family and friends can attend.

Steve Tucker, no lover on the verbal commitment Illinois received from Quentin Watkins for hoops??????? 4 Star talent big bruce landed!!!

GO ILLINI!!!

I think Hughes will see the handwriting on the wall:
IF he chooses to become part of the '07 Illinois recruiting class, these players can make history by leading the Illini to a bowl game THIS YEAR and to a very top notch bowl game in their Soph. year....I believe it is all going to come down to QB play: IF I. Williams or whoever the starter is finishes in the Top 5 in the Big Ten in terms of completion %, they WILL go to a bowl game in '07....they are not far away, especially with the addition of this class.

Saw Tucker play live. He is good. Not only can he score, but he is a nasty defender that will steal your lunch money the second you relax!!! Nice signing

HEY BOBBY..... REMEMBER THE ILLINI... !!!!!!!

I hope it is Illinois.
Remember, Ron Zook recruited 22 of the 24 starters (including punter and kicker) of the National Champion Florida Gators. He can identify and recruit talent

Hey Illini,

What's the deal on Hughes promised announcement. Seems to me he indicated he'd commit between the 16th and the 23rd. Any news?
