Checking out Rich East sophomore Shea Sumpter

Tonight I'm off to see Rich East and Oak Forest...

Both teams are unranked and 3-1. Rich East was 17-10 last season and starts three sophomores, including highly touted Shea Sumpter. I didn't get a chance to see him play last year, but the Daily Southtown put him on their All-Area team, which is rare for a freshman.

Oak Forest is led by 6-6 John Koschnitzky, who averaged 21 points and eight rebounds per game last season
