Today is the first day of practice across the state. With recruiting behind them, the defending state champion Wolverines are focused on other matters.
"Now we can get down to business with Simeon," Rose said. "It’s just taking it one game at a time, no way are we going to look ahead, when you start looking at winning state or a national title, that’s when you get knocked off."
Simeon's game against Oak Hill at the UIC Pavilion in January will be televised on ESPN.
"It’s really hard for anyone to play on that big of a stage," Flowers said. "But Coach Rob (Smith) is good at preparing us. Everyone on our team will be 100 percent ready."
I THINK SIMEON IS A GOOD TEAM BUT FLOWERS TALKING ABOUT A NATIONAL TITLE IS A BUNCH OF SH$$T. THEY HAVE 2 DIVISON 1 PLAYERS. OAK HILL IS ALWAYS STOCKED.
I HOPE THEY DO WIN THIS GAME. IT WILL DO A LOT FOR ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL.
BY THE WAY I LIKE WASHINGTON TO WIN STATE.
