Wheeling senior forward Taylor Lawless will miss the upcoming season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee in June.

Lawless, a 6-2 forward who was a three-years starter for the Wildcats, was a member of the 2004-05 All-Area girls basketball team. She made an oral commitment to Illinois State this summer.
