Now that Eric Gordon is going to Indiana, Derrick
Rose can be the focal point of the offense for Illinois. He should also note the success of Derron Williams and Luther Head in the NBA who were well coached by Coach Webber

It would be great if Rose goes to U of I and it's nice that he's giving the state school a legit look, but it's pretty much a done deal that he's going to Memphis to learn under Calipari, who has a good track record of sending preps to the pros in a short amount of time (i.e. 1-year and done).

I can't wait for Indianan to get put tougher probation...HAHAHAHA

probation? let's see: he lives 40 miles from Indiana University, he had an 'oral' agreement with U of I and most importantly his father contacted Indiana and wanted him to play there after Crybaby left. So now a teenager can't listen to his dad on what a kid should do? basketball has gotten ridiculous indeed.

I can't wait for Illinois grads to learn how to spell and write complete sentences! Thanks Lou!

I THINK ROSE SHOULD GO TO ILLINOIS. NOW THAT 2 MORE PLAYERS HAVE MADE NBA TEAMS
FROM ILLINOIS SHOULD SHOW ROSE THAT HE CAN GET TO THE BIG SHOW BY STAYING IN ILLINOIS.

I'm a high school student from the Chicago area I think that he should go to DePaul, don't go where they wont respect!

Insider Information; D. Rose to Indiana.. you illini fans are terrible

I like Depaul but having their campus in the city really hurts there program, becaue most of the top notch players in Illinois are from the inner city, and they want to get away from all the distraction and tough neighborhoods and so on.
Now that Coach Weber has been as Illinois for a few years, he will start getting the players that we need to take out program over the top, no worries people. year after year you have blue chippers coming out of chicago, and some fish are going to get away, is how it is, but enough talent to go around, U of I will be an elite program.

He should go to the University of Memphis and help the tigers win a National Championship with the talent they already have. Plus he would be playing in the same town with the Grizzlies where NBA scouts are there all the time.

Looks like he's headed to Memphis. If Weber doesn't get some top knotch recruits for 2008. I think he'll be out of a job at Illinois.
