The lineup for this fall's Preseason Prep Bowl Kickoff Classic at Soldier Field was officially unveiled on Friday, and the first game of the season could be one of the best.

Mount Carmel, which finished 12-2 and was the Class 8A runner-up last season, will meet 7A quarterfinalist Simeon (11-1) at 2:30 p.m. in the opener of the tripleheader on Friday, Aug. 26. Game 2 will pit Catholic League power Providence, coming off a rare down year, against Morgan Park, under new coach Jeremy Gold, at 5:15. The nightcap will match IHSA playoff qualifiers St. Ignatius and Young at 8.
