Diamond Jim and his minions, including the nearly 200 village employees,(many of which are severely overpaid) have ensured that the "same old same old" is alive and well in Norridge...and we voters of Norridge lost the chance to have a very good man and leader (Tom Benigno) give Norridge what it needs...new faces, new ideas and reform...our illustrious new Village President will make $60K working part time...it's always been a part time gig...Sieb, Field Oppedisano and now Diamond Jim Chmura
I defy anyone to:
a) find a part time job that pays so well
b) find a local small village that pays its Village President that kind of coin...or even half that much

Jim Chmura's victory has ensured that the goose who lays the golden eggs will still reside at the corner of Olcott and Irving Pk Rd...just ask the Field family who has a $1.3 million dollar no bid contract for ambulance service in Norridge....it's a sad day for Norridge...my hometown :-(!!!

Unfortunately, the voters of Norridge were not strong enough to withstand the new Norridge bully...Diamond Jim Chmura...a sad day for Norridge...the place I call home.

Alderman, city of Chicago.

I don't understand your comment there Mr. Pisterzi...
