This debate was a jam fest of so much data that neither candidate achieved a clear, distinct distillation of facts and the weight of those facts.
Overall, Romney gained. Obama stayed in place.
Where was the jugular here? Where was one of them cutting to the heart of the other's argument?
The format did not help.
But too much practice at this debate got in the way of clarity. If undecideds were truly listening, they are still, I'm guessing, really undecided.
And should be.
