Republicans may be heartened, but debate was no game-changer

The Democratic spinmeisters say President Obama was having a conversation with the American people tonight.

I think it might have worked better if he'd just joined the debate with Mitt Romney.

People are always saying Obama has to avoid being professorial, then he went more professorial than I can ever remember.

The President looks a lot older than he did fours years ago. I would have rather seen him come across as much wiser as well.

I don't see this debate moving votes, but Republicans are going to feel better about Romney. He articulated their view of the world better than Obama did for Democrats.
