What are the odds? 5 out of 16,000
In the run up to the Senate Judiciary hearings today on the Administration's warrant-less electronic spying program, came word that the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) court has rejected exactly 5 applications for warrants in over 16,000 cases. And many of those applications were retroactive -- the conversations had already been recorded.
So, yeah, I guess you can really see why going to court for warrants would just be a big hassle.
5 out of 16,000? You really do have to wonder about those five applications.

Subject of Warrant: Mario's Restaurant
Nature of Request: Mario's Restaurant claims to use only extra virgin olive oil in their salads, but I suspect that they are actually using virgin olive oil. To determine the nature of Mario's olive oil, above named agent is requesting a warrant to intercept all electronic communications between the United States of America and Europe.
The above application was one of the five rejected, but when the application was narrowed to just electronic communications between the U.S. and Mediterranean Europe, the warrant was granted.

Hello America uncle Sam is Listening to your conversations and you don't like it , well get used to it . the Government will record your voice or data if you use any marked words or phrases ,anything that could be construed with terror or of some other interest, and well you get the point . the communications companies work with the Government to accomplish this . they are beholden to the Government because the legislature dose so much for them ( deregulation , Mergers, reaquisitions And the like ) .Don't think that they are overwhelmed either that they cant watch every thing, well they can and have been doing it for quite some time . now fear rules the day and when some one tries to speak up you're a traitor or un-American this is so sad . but the unfortunate thing is so many Americans go along with the program . absolute power corrupts absolutely and that is fact, remember that today its some one you don't know then your neighbor then your family then you. By that time there is no one left to hear your cry. Wake up folks this is not good read the constitution what is going on now is not right. I can only imagine if former president Clinton did some of this stuff , he would be put away for ever. Remember the time he sent cruise missiles to Afghanistan to kill osama and the senate said this was a case of wag the dog . that osama was not a threat ,oh I guess we all forgot that ! what is going on now would make Houdini proud .we all need to wise up and quick.
