The Chicago edition of the World Naked Bike Ride is this Saturday. If you hadn't heard about it, don't be ashamed -- details about the event have, as always, been under wraps. The reason is that while organizers want a lot of participants in this annual protest of oil consumption, they don't want to announce to the more easily offended among us (read: police) exactly where this skin-baring event will occur.
So if you're interested, here's what you do. Go to the website and sign up for the email list. On Saturday, you'll be notified of where to go (the pre-ride gathering is from 6-9 p.m., and the ride is from 9 p.m.-midnight). A note: almost anything goes in terms of attire, but body paint is recommended (as are black ribbons to represent the Gulf oil spill).
