Celebrate Canadian Independence Day (July 1) by dressing up in the classiest of Canadian attire (i.e. denim from head to toe). Drink specials include $1 Labatt Blue cans and $3 Canadian Club whiskey shots/drinks and a $100 cash prize will be awarded for the best “Canadian Tuxedo” costume. Sounds like a party, eh?

Since the city canceled the big annual July 3 show, you’ll have to get a little creative to get your fireworks fix this year. Kick off the weekend right by road tripping out to Oak Forest for this annual festival, which has an aerial display tonight and on July 4. As an added bonus, you can watch some PCW wrasslin’ tonight too.
