Foodie app expands beyond the iPhone

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

iPhone users are, in many ways, a different breed from the rest of us. At times, it seems they speak a different language, one full of apps and maps and everything else that comes along with owning the game-changing smartphone (including the crappy AT&T service). For a while, they were even eating better than everyone else, thanks to the limited availability of the Foodie app, which offers exclusive deals at dozens of Chicago restaurants.

Well, good news, non-Apple lemmings: the folks behind Foodie just launched a website which includes all the deals available to iPhone customers, now open to anyone with an internet connection (assuming you jump on the offers quickly enough) for free! Check it out, make some reservations, and hit the restaurant with your head held high. You're just as good as any iPhone owner -- at least when it comes to dining out.
