U.S. Air Guitar Championships -- Chicago Regional
9 p.m. at Metro; $15
Whether you think this is an awesome idea or just a silly gimmick, you've gotta admit that the idea of watching some dudes (and dudettes) fake-rock out to classic guitar riffs will make for an entertaining evening. Want to get on stage yourself? There may be some spots left. Tonight's event will be hosted by Bjorn Turoque and judged by Hot Lixx Hulahan and Team Bayside High. KISS tribute band Slutter will perform.

Windy City Burlesque Fest opening night party
10 p.m. at Blue Bayou; free
Though the real fest doesn't get started until tomorrow (there'll be shows on Friday and Saturday at Greenhouse Theater Center), you can get a sneak peek with two free performances (10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.) from some of the country's top burlesque artists tonight.

Do Division Launch Party
5:30-7:30 p.m. at Evil Olive; free
Celebrate the launch of the do-division.com website (celebrating all things West Division Street) with some free wine and food in Wicker Park. There are sure to be goodies from area businesses.

Don't forget, today's tax day! Check out Centerstage's list of tax-relief specials at Chicago-area businesses.
