If you came of age in the '90s, this is pretty much a dream concert bill. Salt 'n' Pepa, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and Whodini will bring it back to the glory days of rap in a marathon show.

El Circo Cheapo Cabaret #2

Can't shell out 200 big ones for Cirque du Soleil? Shell out 10 for El Circo Cheapo, a monthly spectacular for the New Depression. In lieu of a big-top and mega-bucks, they've got a converted warehouse space, talent and spunk. Featuring a rotating cast of Chicago's most fearless and flexible young performers, this reliably sold-out event has a surprise inside, every time.

Third Annual Super Chili Bowl
Noon-6 p.m. Saturday at Mahoney's Pub & Grill; $5
Get ready for Super Bowl Sunday with this all-you-can-eat chili event, co-sponsored by Butch McGuire's. The funds will go to the "Bears Offensive Coordinator Search Fund" whose goal is to get "a better team in time for next year’s Super Chili Bowl and more importantly, the actual NFL Championship." The winner of the contest gets to personally deliver a check with the proceeds to Halas Hall. Entertainment includes the "Ma-Honeys" girls and funk cover band Tad Dancin'. Added specials: $4 domestic beers and $5 Red Stag whiskey cocktails.

College Improv Tournament Finals
1 p.m. Saturday at Studio BE; $7.50-$20; buy tickets
See the best of the nation's improv teams as the national tournament crowns a champion this weekend. Cheer on the "home teams" - Wheaton College's Faux Posse (which will perform in the semifinals at 1 p.m.) or Northwestern's Titanic Players' Daddy Mags (5 p.m.). And be sure check out the championship at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
