We know the summer feels a long way away, but it's never too early to start planning. One thing you can take off your schedule this year is the city's fireworks presentation in Grant Park on July 3. It's been eliminated as part of Chicago's cost-cutting measures (which included an earlier shutdown of the annual Venetian Night), to be replaced by three smaller neighborhood shows.
