B.L.U.E.S. fundraiser supports contest winners

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Back in November, several local performers competed in the Chicago Blues Challenge, presented by the Windy City Blues Society. The winners (including Grana Louise and the Troublemakers, Matt Hendricks and Bill Curtis, and Will Jacobs and Dirty Deal) will now move on to the International Blues Challenge, January 20-23 in Memphis. But a trip down south costs money, so if you want to see a Chicagoan take home the big prize, do your part to support the artists by heading to the Society's fundraiser tonight at B.L.U.E.S. on Halsted (6:30-9 p.m., $10). You'll enjoy entertainment from Hendricks and Curtis as well as all-you-can-eat BBQ (while it lasts). Stick around afterward for a set from local staple Vance Kelly.
