If you just can't wait for the Taste of Chicago (June 26-July 5) in Grant Park, or you simply want to know what being in the middle of a swarm of hungry Chicagoans at lunch hour feels like, the city is hosting an open-to-the-public preview at Daley Plaza today from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The event will include six booths, including Manny's (barbecued brisket sandwiches) and Arya Bhavan (samosas). Eats cost $2-$5 (cash only) and The Eli Story will perform.
