As if tempers don’t get heated enough during the Crosstown Classic (City Series, Red Line War, whatever you want to call Cubs-Sox), MyWrigleyville.com has a new game to fan the flames. The goal is to hit Sox manager Ozzie Guillen with as many baseballs as possible in 15 seconds (hint: you get more points if you hit him in the crotch). The top score each week wins a free Wrigley rooftop pass for an upcoming game.
We’d guess former Cub Michael Barrett might want to give this a shot, although he’d probably prefer a game involving Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski. But Guillen himself probably won’t be too interested in the prize – unless he wanted to induce another bout of nausea.
Round 2 of Cubs-Sox is this weekend on the South Side. Looking for a place to watch the game? We’ve got both Sox fans and Cubs fans covered.
what a riot - sweet deals too!!!
