If you hadn't noticed, foie gras is kind of a controversial dish 'round these parts. Which is why the upcoming Foie Gras Fest (June 11-16), presented by Chicago Chefs for Choice, is bound to stir up some emotions (they're already getting livid over liver at Chicagoist). But it's also sure to bring out the supporters, which will make the participating restaurants pretty happy.
So, if you're one of them, here's the deal. Specially created foie gras dishes will be available for $10 at the following restaurants: Cyrano's Bistrot, Cafe Bernard, Cafe Matou, Carlos, David Burke's Primehouse, Hemmingway's Bistro, May Street Market, Union League Club.
