The Center for the Performing Arts at Governors State University announced its 15th season today, a season that includes an eclectic mix of dance, music, comedy and "Especially for Kids" entertainment.

Dec. 12: Salt Creek Ballet presents "The Nutcracker"
Dec. 19: "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
Jan. 17, 2010: Teatro Lirico D'Europa presents "Die Fledermaus"
Jan. 23, 2010: Hubbard Street Dance Chicago
Jan. 30, 2010: The Cabaret at the Center Series featuring Harmonious Wail (Jan. 30), Rachael Price (Feb. 27) and The Millers (Mar. 27)
Feb. 13, 2010: John Mueller's Winter Dance Party, tribute to Buddy Holly the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens
March 6: "If You Give a Pig a Pancake and Other Short Stories
