Achatz April Fool's?

We don't think he brings the medal everywhere, but you never know.

Gapers Block is reporting that super-chef Grant Achatz will be giving a cooking demonstration at Now We're Cookin' in Evanston on April 1. The event's only $65, including wine and appetizers, which is about a third of what you might pay for a meal at Alinea, Achatz's award-winning restaurant.

If you want to find out what skills he'll be displaying in his former stomping grounds (he used to work at Trio, in case you forgot), you might be able to dredge up some info on Achatz's Twitter feed. You know, if he ever posts anything.
