1. The assemblage of textures, flavors and colors is unparalleled -- warm dog, soft bun, savory mustard, crunchy pickle, tart sport pepper, sweet green relish, sharp onion, mellow tomato and lip-smacking celery salt.
2. It makes the rankings of the Zagat restaurant guide -- it's that good. This year, Hot Doug's, 3324 N. California, slipped in between Spiaggia and Frontera Grill as the 17th best place for food in Chicago.
3. Only in Chicago do we pay for a side of insults with our hot dog -- and still go back for more. (Wieners Circle, 2622 N. Clark, dishes up hearty helpings of both.)

I would like to comment on a real "Chicago Style" Hot Dog Stand. BOB-O'S Hot Dogs @ 8258 W. Irving Pk Rd. My family has owned and operated it for over 30 years. My mom (Phyllis) is the hardest working woman in the Hot Dog business and I feel she deserves the recognition for all her years of hard work. Not to mention raising 4 kids while she built a successful business. We grew up eating and making Hot Dogs. It's in our blood. She now has 4 grandsons who love to go to Nana's hot dog stand and participate in the fun.
We are in the Vienna Hall of Fame.

We also make outstanding homemade Italian Beef Sandwiches and Fresh Cut French Fries!!! Please come in and give us a try.
I also have some great photos from our recent 30 year anniversary I would be happy to forward to you.
Thank you for taking the time to review this comment. I would love to see my Mom's smiling face in the newspaper. I am very proud of her accomplishments.
Respectfully,
