Thievery Corp. stole a Poi Dog again

Thievery Corporation — the nucleus of which is the highly regarded DJ and production duo Rob Garza and Eric Hilton — returns to Chicago this weekend, in a gig now moved to the Aragon Ballroom because of high ticket demand (though it's not sold out yet, tickets still available here).

No surprise there, as not only is the band's "outernational" musical blend highly infectious but because one of the members propping up their beats is Chicago's own Frank Orrall. You might know him as the sweetly scratchy voice of Poi Dog Pondering. He's toured and recorded with Thievery Corp. before, and it's a perfect fit.
