Dave Dresden — one half of the acclaimed, now-defunct DJ duo Gabriel & Dresden (but he has a new partner shortly, Mikael Johnston from Mephisto Odyssey) — is not only performing this weekend at Crobar's Chicago outpost, the show is billed as the kick-off to his Crobar residency. (This makes it sound as if he'll be back every weekend, though we can only find another scheduled date back at Crobar in May.)
