Our favorite piece from the Field's exhibit of Aztec housewares — a rabbit vessel that stored pulque, an alcoholic beverage. Nah (hiccup!), what's up, doc?

In conjunction with the Aztec World exhibit recently opened at the Field Museum — it's way cool, focusing on how the Average Joe Aztec lived from day to day — 16 local restaurants are dishing up recipes drawn from or inspired by those ancient hearths. The event, called Taste of the Aztec World, starts Sunday and runs through the 17th — and Chicagoist got a taste of the treats to come.
