President-elect Barack Obama's biggest fan -- Oprah Winfrey -- is rumored to be planning an inauguration bash all her own.

Sources tell the Washington Post's Reliable Source that Winfrey -- who said Election Day she'd already picked out her inauguration dress -- is hoping to broadcast three of her shows from the nation's capitol that week, potentially from the historic Kennedy Center.

Event planners also working for Winfrey apparently are combing D.C. to find a site for a big inauguration bash.

Hopefully, our invitation is in the mail.

Neither the Kennedy Center or reps from Harpo would comment to the Post.

How historic that universities and schools consider Inauguration Day 2008 a holiday! Well with my day off I'm going to forget out past differences and partisanship and go out and throw stones and insults at the presidential motorcade! Oh wait, I'm sorry ... that was back with that other non-historic President Bush was elected. We didn't *do* unity back then. We made Bush jokes the new national pastime because those were the non-historic days of partisanship. We live in a new era now where Barack Obama can literally save the world and all conservatives or non-believers (i.e. people who believe in the Constitution of the United States and that that is what made this country great... and not big government or taxes) need to drop their dissent like the Bush-haters did and just unite for the common good. Hell, speaking of the common good - let's even subsidize community service and volunteerism with tax money and scholarships!

Anyway... what a historic occasion - historic for so many reasons....

What are some?

Well...

He's half-white?

Oh wait, it's not about race.

Um....

We're about to allow a man who believes the Constitution is a "flawed document" take office and swear an oath to defend it?

Hmm...

We've elected the most liberal presidential candidate to run for the office of the President since .. John Kerry?

Well. I can't think of any reasons that Barack Obama's election is anything truly noteworthy for America except one giant leap for mankind in the wrong direction and the media's success at promoting the most unbelievable zeitgeist for an inexperienced politician in American history- spurning large swaths of naive moron big government liberals around the country to swear their allegiance to this community organizer/messiah.

He is not like Lincoln (who said whites and blacks could never live in peace, to paraphrase and took strong moral stances on what he believed - didn't say they were above his pay grade) or JFK (with his tax cuts he is really more like a Republican by today's standards - the only similarity here is that they're both young), but more like Jimmy Carter, the humanitarian dimwit who brought us 70s stagflation, taxation on "windfall profits", the Iran hostage crisis and in general, a wasted near-decade of relative economic misery.

I wanted to say that at least I can be optimistic about Obama and the beauty of a brave idealist rising from obscurity to become President, and that that speaks volumes about America.

But I stopped myself - if the collusion between the establishment and the media had given fair coverage to all candidates then Ron Paul, one of the few remaining patriots in our elected government, would have stood a fighting chance. But no, the media idolization of Obama helped him, not to win an election, but essentially run a successful marketing campaign targeted at young voters/consumers. And consume the product they did. Obama didn't win an election based on his credentials - he had the media, the zombified and misdirected youth (thanks in part to the liberal hives that have become our schools and universities) and that fact that he is half-white....oops! I meant to say half-black. Sorry. Because it's not about race... obviously since Colin Powell also endorsed the last most liberal member of the Senate that ran for the Presidency in 2004 and 92%(+/-) of black voters (some of whom were registered by those ACORN scumbags), a population set that was largely apathetic until 2008, voted for Obama. No of course it has nothing to do with race.

And just to stop any flames before they start I think Ken Blackwell, Clarence Thomas, or Thomas Sowell would all make fine Presidents - and its sad I have to mention the black public figures I admire to defend myself against insults of racism, but that's the way our politically correct population's hivemind works.

So, while I truly hope for the best from Obama, for the sake of the promise this country still holds if we can eventually steer it on the right course (and not the left one) I am disappointed at how many people think this election is something that it's not. Bottom line - I wouldn't see the word historic in front of "election" or "inauguration" when I look at every media outlet if Obama WASN'T half-black SO.... it is OBVIOUSLY ABOUT RACE. Sadly enough... because it shouldn't be.

Love to have a ticket, but I know it is impossible. I am still coming to DC.

Dear Oprah
I just wanted to thank you for all your support with the Mr.Obama and family. You truly are a blessing to us all, giving so much over the years to educate us, while entertaining us at the same time. It has to be so overwhelming for you to be up close and a personal part of history. This is truly a milestone in our lives, to hear and see Dr. Martin Luther King Dream come true along with so many others. My 17 year old son volunteer doing the election and it was so fulfilling for him. He has always said that he wanted to go to Morehouse College and now he is on going to be a student there in 2009-2010 school year. It's such awesome and rewarding college, yet the cost is extremely high, but that's the sacrifice we have to make as our son step into his destiny, knowing that his dreams to can come true because of our newly Elect President Barack Obama. I really wanted to see history being made, times are hard, but I will be glued to the T.V... We truly have came along way from slavery to the inauguration, we have President Obama picture on computer background to remind us to always pray for him and his family. I love you Lady Winfrey and truly appreciate you. Again thank you so much for all you have done to help make history.

One of the balls that is going to be great is the American Music Legends Ball and the Urban Ball -- great entertainment and fun!

Dear Oprah,
God bless you for all you have done enlightening Americans and people all over the world. My daughter and I am from Los Angeles and will be staying with cousins in Silver Spring during the Inauguration week. I’m a product of the 60’s,originally from New Orleans, a baby boomer and a single mom of African American descent. To witness an event of this magnitude has great significance for my entire family especially my mother and father who instilled in me at an early age that with effort and determination and with God’s strength, anything is possible. This inauguration is proof of that. With the swearing in of President Barack Obama comes hope, strength, pride, unity, courage, and a restored faith in our country. We would greatly appreciate 6 tickets or whatever number of tickets you can spare for the taping of such a powerful, historic show.

Thank you!

Ms. Winfrey - Please let me say "Thank you" You have done so many wonderful things for so many people, THANK YOU!! Rumor has it that you will air a live show from Washington, DC during the week of the inauguration. That is awesome; I feel so proud to be an American living today. To have to opportunity to watch such a historic event, brings tears of joy as well as unimaginable relief. I feel that there will be someone in power that will absolutely make a difference in my children's life. They had their first opportunity to vote for a Presidential candidate and they were ecstatic that President elect Obama won. My son serves in the Coast Guard and he has done things that I may never do; which is save life of someone who is drowning. Even today, it is amazing that people are afraid of him when they see him walking down the street because of the color of his skin, but they reach out to hug him when he swims in the ocean toward them. Perspective is everything. My daughter is attending an HBCU, maintaining her 3.6 GPA studying Architecture while we gladly struggle to pay the 40K+ to send her to school. I see the future for her and my son; it is bright with the wisdom that our future President holds. I believe that, so did many like me and….so did you! Your support was incredible, your rallies and shows proved that people should vote on issues, not skin tones. This election proved “that the actions of my heart, will speak for me” and people should not be judged by the color of their skin. If you have not found a place to have your show, please consider Howard University - what could be more fitting and historic. While I understand I may not obtain tickets to your show, I am sincerely moved by you as a person, role model and a Woman. You have changed HIStory (as well as HERstory) by your examples. You have shown us how to use one's strengths as well as how to face our weaknesses, and Still we rise. I am so excited about the all the opportunities for change now possible for our country with the success and election of Barack Obama. We all stood in awe and admiration as he and his family marched bravely one step at a time with dignity, grace and intelligence. I wish you Well, I wish President elect Barack Obama Well and I wish our wonderful Nation Well.
V/R,
Andi

Dear Oprah,

Due to the bad economic times, I had to borrow money to make it possible for me to attend this historic event.

I volunteered and worked on the Obama campaign and I was determined to be there.

I would love to have one ticket to attend your show.

Thanks, in advance, for considering me for a ticket for this once in a life time event that means so much to me.

Anthony Bennett

Oprah, God is watching you.

Is there any possible way I could get 2 tickets for your taping in DC on Jan 19, 2009? Standing room only would be great....being there as a volunteer to do anything you need would be great...any way would be great...Thanks.

I wasn't able to log on during the short time tickets to the DC taping were offered....PLEASE .....could I possibly do standing room only? I would do anything to be able to watch the show....help in any way.....Please consider my offer...Thank you so much for endorsing Obama....it really helped and you took a big chance....

My husband and I are retired educators in Wichita, Kansas. We are excited about being in Washington, D.C. to see President-Elect Barack Obama proclaimed the leader of the free world. It would be a dream come true to add to that an opportunity to be a part of your show. We appreciate your consideration.

My wife is a loyal fan of yours. In her eyes, you can do no wrong! We are both avid OBAMA supporters. Thank God for his victory...our victory on Nov. 4!!! Because of my wife's relentless efforts to get tickets, we will be in Washington from January 19th -21st for the inauguration. It will be such a blessing to be a part of this historic event. When I heard that you will be taping in Washington Inauguration week, I thought it would be a great idea to also surprise her with tickets to your show. Afterall one good turn deserves another! Would you please help me surpise this amazing woman? She will be thrilled to be a part of studio audience. Please consider providing us with 2 tickets to your show. It would be much appreciated!

Dear Oprah,
I am from Raeford,North Carolina and my family will be attending the Inaguration for the first time in our lives. My 17 year old daughter volunteered to campaign for our President Elect Obama. She is a great student in school. She is ranked 3rd in her class of 429 students, the highest ranking minority and she is President of the National Honor Society and the Total Image Club at her school. She was choosen the Superintendents Choice to attend the N.C Governors' School last summer. She is an outstanding orator and is a member of her schools forensic and debate team. She has written a Tremendous Oration on Mr. Obamas'historic victory. Please help me to make this a truly everlasting memory for her . Could we please request 7 tickets to Oprahs' Inaguration Ball? A mothers' wish for her super terrific daughter!

Thank You Kindly
Mrs. Iresteen Grant

Those of us in the DC area are hard pressed to participate in anything associated with the inauguration. I am in need of six tickets to the show and the ball. I have several family members coming from different parts of the country. We never thought we'd live to see the day this would happen. We would love to be a part of it with you at a show and at the ball.

Hello Oprah!

I am a native Washingtonian. I had never been to Chicago, however always wanted to be on your show. I heard you are bringing your show to DC for the Inauguration events. I would love to have 4 to 5 ticket to attend.

Thank you.

Me too Oprah, me too...please.

Ms. Winfrey I too shared your elation watching President-Elect Barack Obama on the night he won the election. My daughter who turned 18 on election day was able to cast her ballot along with her 90-year-old grandfather. We thoroughly enjoy your show but have been unsuccessful in our attempts to get audience tickets. May we please receive four tickets to one of your shows in Washington, DC during the week of the inauguration? Thank you very much for your consideration.

Dear Oprah--I don't want tickets but I WILL be watching your show from D.C. in the comfort of my living room. I do, however, have a couple of ideas for a topic for your show.

Dear Oprah,
When my oldest son, who is 7 years old and biracial Korean American, saw the election results he said, "now anyone, not just white people, can be president...I want to be president". It was at this point that I decided to fly us both from Los Angeles to DC for the election.

My husband, who immigrated from Korea as a child, was sworn in as a citizen one month before the elections. He was so excited to be able to vote for Barack Obama. He will be staying home with our younger son as we cannot afford a trip for all of us.

We would love to have tickets to your show. We are so excited by the monumental hope and inspiration that Obama has offered our nation and the international community.
Thank you so much,
Nisa

Hello from Gloucester, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland!! I, unfortunately, will not be at the inauguration and am therefore not inquiring about where I may purchase tickets to your show. However, I wanted to extend a heartfelt... Thank You... for bringing your show to the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). I feel who is more fitted than a woman of your stature, a black successful woman, whom has lived through so much pain and heartache of the times, to host a show for this historical event.

You, along with many other promenient African American figures, have pathed the way that lead to such a historical event to even occur. Not many in my generation, I'm 29, would have thought that we would live long enough to see such an event(lost to the streets by way of gangs, drugs, and senseless violence). My grandmother, a strong black woman of Native American decent, cried when Obama was elected. She has barried two children, and just recently a grandchild but never shed a tear.

This moment is also near and dear to me, because I am a single mother (1 son, Khailek). I push my son everyday to be the best him he can be without a male role model(my father lives 4 hrs away) in his life. It is my duty as a single mother, a black women, to make sure my son does not become a stereotype. Obama and his loving family have given my son and me a reason to believe in and love our heritage even more... To feel like we belong (in the U.S.) ...and to make all my dreams for my son and myself seem possible not probable.....

So again, I thank you for bringing your show to the DMV and for being a strong Black Woman. May God continue to bless you and those you hold near!

Hey Oprah. You're the best! I love how you give so much, you're alway joyful and love everybody! You have a great spirit. Now, I've been trying to get tickets to your show for 10 years, and to no avail have I had the opportunity to see you in person. I live in Virginia, close to DC. I would love to get tickets to your DC show, listen to opinions and reviews about President-Elect Obama and his new administration. I'm particularly interested in health care reform and the future health trends. I hope I get to see you soon. I'd love to get a ticket for my Mother also. It would be one of the greatest enjoyments of her life. Well, keep up the good work, stay strong. All the Best! Your friend, Mili D.

Dear Ms. Winfrey,
I'm a Liberian/American from the Kpelle tribe, from the Bong region. I have been a long time viewer of your show.
After you endorsed Obama, months later, I had a dream. In my dream, there was an old wooden house and all Gods' children were remodeling this house. They remodeled the old wooden house to a white marble tile house. All human race, male and female were working on this house. When I asked about the house, a Doctor said, Obama will be moving in this white house. From that moment, I knew that God had ordained this day and God had shown me his chosen one. At that moment I opened the doors of my barber and beauty shop. We got involved in voters registration, phone banking and more. I'm kindly
asking you for three tickets to attend your show. I'm praying to be a part of this historic inauguration.
Thanks for all you have done in the US and around the World. May God continue to richly bless you.

Hi Oprah,

I am a Georgia educator and I and 5 of my colleagues will be attending the inauguration. We will be in Washington, DC on Monday and would love to attend your show. We are so excited about the inauguration and the ability to experience some of the activities, tickets to your show would be the icing on the cake for us! Thanks for your consideration! We love you, Oprah!

Dear Oprah

We live in the DC Metro Area and we would like 4 tickets for your show any day during inauguration week. We would love to be in your audience.

Thank you

Dear Oprah
On November 4th 2008, I stood in my bed room and
cried as history was being made. This event was
second only to the birth of my children and grandchildren. Being born in the 50's in the south, I don't think my children truly understood the feelings that I would always get on MLK day and how his speech would always move me year after year. On Nov 4th, I truly believe they now understand.

Myself and three other friends made our reservations two weeks before the election because we knew in our hearts that Barrack Obama would be our next president.

We would appreciate information on how to obtain tickets for your Washington show.

Thank You,

Teresa M. Garner

Hello Oprah,

Dear Oprah. I am writing from California and I am coming to DC to attend the Inauguration. I believed from the beginning that Mr. Obama could do this and I never stopped believing so that is why I had my airline and hotel tickets way before the primary season was over.

My daughter who is currently working as an intern at Oxygen Television in New York and I are coming even if we don't have tickets. My husband is working on his schedule - he runs the Independent Living Skills for Foster Youth so sometimes it is difficult to get away.

We will be in DC on Jan 16 and leave for home on the 21st. I would love to get 3 tickets for your show that will Broadcast in DC. If possible I would also like 2 extra tickets for my sister and niece, they too plan to come to DC.

Thank you for your consideration.

Ruth

Dear Oprah and Team,

So much could be said, but I save that for our President Elect and his beautiful family and you.

Please, if at all possible, may I be part of the celebration or a member of the audience? I will travel from Oklahoma to Washington, DC from January 18 to 22.

I will gladly volunteer to help with any work or in assisting others. This is going to be a unifying week unlike any other if we roll up our sleeves and help make it happen.

With thanks.

Dear Oprah:

I am a DC resident and would love to see your show while you are in town for this very historic inauguration! Please let me know how I can formally request a ticket!

Thanks in advance!

Inaguration of Pres. Obama will be a momentus occasion. after working with the Red Cross to do what little I could for residents of La., I never envisioned so many Americans would suffer job losses as we are feeling during this recession. There is so much that needs to be fixed in our nation. But, this is a celebration of hope and trust that this President will help the millions who have suffered so much at the expense of the wealthier few. If there is a way to participate in your celebration for the president-elect, I would love to receive information on the event.

My husband and I are flying from Tulsa, OK to attend the historical inauguration for our President Elect, Barack Obama. There were so many after parties and inaugural balls listed, and we still couldn't make up our minds of wich ones we will be attending. Since we heard that you'll be throwing an Inaugural Ball of your own, we would LOVE to attend this historical and most memorable event. Please contact me and let me know of what my husband and I needed to do in order to make it to your Inaugural Ball.

Am a DC resident and very excited about the new administration and the Oprah Show being filmed in DC! Would love 4 tickets, please let me know how to request them! Thanks!!

Ms. Winfrey, please tell me this is not the only way to secure tickets to your Inauguration week shows from DC? I have been surfing everything Oprah trying to purchase tickets for the women in my life and this in the only site that offers any hope! I cannot claim to be a life long fan of yours because there are some issues on which we just do not agree but... My 85 year old Mother, my sisters (2), my daughters in law (2) and my nieces (2) simply adore you. I respect your honesty and we both share a love for Barack and Michelle Obama and the little Obama girls, Melia and Sasha. If you cannot forgive me for not being totally in sync with you, please still consider allowing me to purchase tickets for the rest of the women in my family (especially my Mom who loves your show!).

Hello Oprah:

I would love to be in the audience for one of your Inaugural shows in DC. Please, provide me with two (2) tickets for one of your shows. I believe that the Obama Administration will change history for both this country and the world and I would like to be part of this celebration.

Thank you for your consideration.

Dearest Oprah,

Hi, I'm a native Washingtonian. I'm a veteran who has seen most of the world and have viewed your show in Germany and Turkey. I would love to be in the audience for the Oprah Show during Inauguration week. This would be a dream come true for my mom, daughter and myself. When will tickets be available and where can I get them?

I live in the DC area and I would love 2-4 tickets for the Oprah DC show. Thanks in advance.

Dear Oprah,

I hear that you may be blessing the DC area with your presence during the President-Elect Obama's inauguration and doing live shows.I would love to be a part of this historic moment, and I would love to be a part of your audience during this historic time. Please if you could, provide (4) tickets to your show I would be most appreciative. I am a proud union worker and I am not sure if you are aware of the powerful labor 2008 Political program that the Union had to support Obama and his campaign, we would love to share our stories with you on your show. We helped turn america around by door knocking, phone banking and leafletting in every state in our beautiful nation. Please let us share our wonderful stories with you.

Thank you for you consideration!

I work at the AFL-CIO and we had a serious LABOR MOVEMENT CAMPAIGN among UNION members in which we litterally turned alot of AMERICA AROUND and continue to do so feverishly. I would love to be in your audience to feel the power of this magnificent moment.

THIS IS TRULY OUR MOMENT.

SO excited that Oprah will be taping in DC the week of Inauguration! Would love to get my two Obama-loving, Oprah-loving teens to one of the shows :-)

AWESOME! So excited Oprah will be taping from DC Inauguration week! Would love for my two Obama-loving, Oprah-loving teens to get tickets to one of the shows :-)

I have been a fan of yours since the start and would love to get tickets for the kennedy center in January. If possible I am requesting three tickets.

My wife and her friends Kim, Chelie, and Suzie are lifelong Oprah fans and worshippers, rarely missing an episode. Each has had her own struggle during this past year. They live in Potomac Falls, VA, and have always wanted to make a girls' trip to Chicago to attend a taping, but because of circumstances have never been able to make it.

Although we are hoping in some way to join the celebration of Barack's historic win, I doubt we'll be able to secure invites. So I would love to get 4 tickets to one of your DC inaugural week shows to surprise these super women! Will you help please?

Greetings Ms. Oprah and Staff:

It's rumored all over America that you're taping during Inauguration Week in Washington, D C.! This is such a thrilling moment in history for the Black race, as well as our country and the world! What better way to share it with a Black Woman who has been so instrumental in the process of CHANGE!!!

A group of us will be travelling from San Francisco and the Bay Area. We will remain in the area through Jan 24th. How can we acquire tickets for your show? We will need eight(8) tickets if the show will be taped Wednesday, and three(3) if it's Thursday or Friday. Do trust that you can accomodate us.

THANKS for ALL that you do for so many. May God continue to pour out his Blessings upon you daily. We love you Ms. Oprah!

Hi Oprah,
We live in Virginia and are so excited that Obama won! We are hoping to win tickets in the raffle for the Inauguration. We would love two tickets for your upcoming show in Washington, DC. If you need a place to stay, we have plenty of room at our house and you are more than welcome. Also, I am an experienced realtor in MD & VA with excellent references. It's a great time to buy a house - just say the word! Thank you for all the wonderful things you do in the world. Hope to hear from you soon!

Dear Oprah,
Very simply, I adore President-elect Obama (“THE ONE”) and YOU. I am a supporter and volunteer, having raised money for Obama for America in New Mexico, my home state. Thank you for opening the National Women's Leadership Conference in Chicago, which I had the privilege of attending. I also have the privilege of being in D.C. during the inauguration and respectfully request an invitation for 4 tickets to your ball. With appreciation, JoAnn

Dear Oprah,
I just heard the news that you will broadcasting your show in Washington DC in January. How exciting! I would love to attend one of your shows. Could I please get 2 tickets to participate in such a wonderful event?

I've been trying to get tickets to see you for so long but now I've moved back to the DC area (Gaithersburg)and am asking for two tickets to one of your shows here in January. I am a Obama supporter who has lost friends because I supported him but I know they will understand why
supporting him was more important than anything for all of us right now...Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Oprah,
We are so excited about the opportunities for change now possible for our country with the success of Barack Obama. We have watched and admired him as he has marched forward one step at a time with dignity, grace and intelligence. You have been influential in my life over the years. You have shown by example, how to use your strengths as well as how to face weaknesses. If you plan to tape your show in the Washington D.C. area I would love to be a part of the audience. Please let me know what I need to do so that my partner and I can celebrate on your show and if possible support a Big Inaugural Bash with you as well. Thank you and your support staff for all you do. Have A Great Day. Kim

Oprah,
My parents are huge fans of you and your show.
Would love for them to see you when you come to Washington for the inaugural.

Thank you.

If possible, 4 tickets please.

Dear Oprah,

I lived in DC for 3 years and I loved it. I lost my job in May and had to move back to CA with my 88-year old grandmother in her 55 and older community. I am 42 years old, never married, no children and no love life to speak of. While unemployed I volunteered for the Obama Campaign. I was even successful in getting my racist grandmother to vote for the first time in 12 years - she was hesitant at first, solely based on the color of Obama's skin - but in the end I convinced her he was the better choice and she did it for me and my future.

I am coming back to DC for inauguration and to job hunt again, even though I sold everything I own, in order to move cross country.

Life has been unbearable lately. I have no life. I used to plan parties for a living, now I cook for my grandmother and am in bed by 9:00pm.

If by chance I can get 4 tickets to either one of your shows or your ball, it would be a good start to a hopeful year.

Sincerely,

Dawn Williams

Dear Oprah,

I was born in Spain and my husband in Germany. We have two beautiful daughers that were born here and are American. We would love for our kids to be a part of Barack Obama's inauguration. We have been residents of DC and Maryland for more than 33 years and tried to get tickets through Congresswoman Norton's office but due to the extremely high demand, it was not possible. I heard you were planning something big for this special occasion. Can you please let me know if there is any chance of us getting any tickets to celebrate President-Elect Barack Obama's historical moment with you?

Thank you,

Isabel

I would live to attend your taping in Washington DC. I have tried to get ticket for your show in Chicago. If possible, I would love to three generations ( My mom and my daughter) to your historic show. Thanks You

Ms. Oprah. This is my first chance voting for a US president since getting my US citizenship. I came to the US as a young woman from the Philippines. Once I became eligible for citizenship, I applied for it because that seemed the right thing to do. Now, I know the power of the vote and was so proud to make my first vote for US President for Mr. Obama. I would be honored to be there during your Washington show to celebrate his presidency with you as a fellow citizen of a country that I can now say, I am proud to be a citizen of. I will stand and cheer so loud if I have the chance to be there with you to celebrate.

Ms. Winfrey...PUHLEEEEEEEEEEZE let me go to the ball, come see the show...SOMETHING! ME AND MY HUSBAND...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! My email addy is Monica (dot) Mingo (at) comcast (dot) net.

PUHLEEEEEEZZEEEE!

Ms. Oprah

I would love to come to your show if you come to Washington D.C. And I hope you will be giving out cars (smile)I'm so sorry I was not at that show. And If you have any friends looking for a place to stay let me know. I'm in walking distance of the main events. Please two ticket to the Obama Ball Change.

Ms. Winfrey,
For the first time ever I watched my 26 year old daughter get excited about politics and words cannot explain the overflowing emotions we shared while witnessing this historic moment in time. We would love to continue that excitement and experience another first as an audience participant on your show. Please, please, please, how may we get tickets?! As the song says "It's been a long, long time comin' but I know a change 'HAS' come!"

I am from Denver Colorado and am a loyal viewer of your show. I went to see you on your "live Your Best Life Tour". I was on the front page of the Denver Post because I had to spend $2500 for a ticket off eBay due to a computer glitch during that time. Even though I spent that much money, I had to sit in the nose bleed seat. So you know I am a big fan and my only dream before I die is to see you up close and personal. My family and I are Obama supporters. I attended every Rally Obama had in Colorado along with attending all the 2008 DNC convent events. We will be in DC on the 17th and attending the Inaugural Illinois Inaugural Ball and would love to be in the audience for one of your Inaugural shows in D.C. during the week. Please, please, please provide us four tickets for one of your shows.

Thank you for your consideration and for speaking out at this critical time in history.

I need some tickets. I've written my congressman and both senators requesting tickets for the inauguration on 1/20/2009. Seeing you Oprah would be the cherry on the cake of a wonderful day. Please tell me how I can get tickets to your events.

Thank you and keep up the good work.

Best Regards,
Kelton

Dear Oprah, If you are considering doing a live feed from the D.C. area, consider Howard Univeristy. What could be more fitting and historic.

Hi: Where can I get tickets for the show? Thanks.

Dear Oprah,

I live in Potomac Maryland and I would love to get at least one ticket to your show during inauguration week. My mother is a huge fan of yours and would love to attend. While my siblings and I are going crazy trying to find inaugural ball tickets and tickets to the swearing in ceremony, my family had a good laugh when my mom told us the only inaguration she needs that week is a ticket to see Oprah!
