Add another notch to Oprah Winfrey's list of humanitarian achievements.
In a feature by Parade magazine ranking the most generous celebs, Winfrey came in first, donating a hefty $50.2 million to various charities last year alone.

The list was compiled by The Giving Back Fund from public records of donations during 2007.

52million? Big deal, she makes over 500m a year so thats just a 10% tithing rate---the rate many of us already give of our own salaries to our Churches.
Please dont get impressed by individual amounts unless they are shown as a percentage of salary to keep it relative.
I mean, great for those causes, and great she leads the list of amount given, but I would guess there are many other names on that list whose percent of giving is 5 times what hers is compared to salary or net worth.
Why isnt she helping Rev Meeks and her own town, Chicago with their Education crisis? Oh thats right, American kids just want sneakers and ipods.
