Even Oprah Winfrey appreciates the low prices at Wal-Mart.

The queen is talk was spotted at a Hawaii Wal-Mart location, apparently leaving with a Nintendo Wii and two games, according to TMZ.com.

The Oprah Winfrey Show is on summer hiatus until late August, but we can't wait for new episodes to start rolling out.


Not that we were putting much weight into the tabloid report anyway, but sources at the Oprah camp are laughing off reports she and actor Tyler Perry are romantically involved in any way.

Citing sources, Sun-Times entertainment columnist Bill Zwecker says the rumors are nothing more than a laughing matter.

Perry, Winfrey and pal Gayle King were spotted Portofino, Italy, earlier this month, igniting rumors of the "affair."

New pics this morning out of Johannesburg, South Africa, as Tiny Virginia Makopo stands in a dock at the start of a trial at the Sebokeng Magistrate Court. Makopo, a former dormitory matron at Oprah Winfrey's School for disadvantaged girls pleaded innocent Tuesday to charges that she indecently assaulted and otherwise abused six teenagers and a fellow matron at the academy.

The former dorm matron of Oprah's Winfrey's $40 million South Africa school accused of abusing students at the institution is slated to go on trial today.

Reports say Tiny Virginia Makopo -- the 28-year old charged with indecent assault, assault and criminal injury of six girls and a fellow matron -- is expected to plead not guilty.

The trial -- during which the girls are expected to provide accounts of the abuse -- is closed to the public and is expected to last until Friday.

Despite being all smiles about beau Justin Long during her last appearance on Oprah, word from Drew Barrymore's rep is the celeb couple has called it splitsville.

Barrymore appeared on Oprah in March and couldn't speak enough about her affection for Long -- who starred in several of the popular Mac TV commercials.

"I found a best friend," she said of Long back in March. "At some point, you decide the person you want to become, you grow up and you make different choices and changes in your life. This relationship is great. It's healthy and productive and supportive and it's full of humor."

Barrymore announced on the show in March she was donating $1 million to the U.N. World Food Programme.

'Pregnant man' gives birth to baby girl

ABC news is reporting in an exclusive story that Thomas Beatie -- the transgendered man born female who became known as the world's first "Pregnant Man" -- has given birth to a baby girl.

According to reports, the birth was natural and not a caesarean section according to rumored speculation.

Since his first exclusive appearance on the Oprah show and in People magazine, Beatie has drawn criticism from people across the globe over his pregnancy.
