Despite solid ratings during it's 8-week run Sundays on ABC, "Oprah's Big Give" won't be back for another season.

The show was left off ABC's fall lineup -- which came out today -- because Oprah decided not to do it for another season.

"We loved that show and absolutely would have loved to bring it back," ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson said in a statement. "But it was something (Oprah) didn't want to do."

well its been hard to find a way to talk to you .but any way for what its like to have all you have .God has blessed you.i would like for you to pray for my wife and me she has cancer
and i have aspinale cord problem.its been real hard but i could use some help from your prayers. love you and all your staff abraham.

I love the show, and the fact that Oprah open doors for people that would have other wise been and stayed unopen. My the Lord bless her for thinking outside the box and not being afraid to be a blessing and share what she has. Hopefully one day I will have the chance to shake her hand and show her love as she has shown other.

That's too bad Big Give isn't going to be on anymore. it was a nice complement to Extreme Makeover. It had a twist on it that made it edgy. Maybe she will rethink her decision?
Or Ellen will do something like that for the people. Cause you know she would. Ellen is all about giving. I think Oprah should be on Ellen's talk show.

LEFT A COMMENT PREVIOUSLY ON HERE IT WASN'T ACCEPTED AND IT SAID THAT I DIDN'T BUY THE BIG GIVE RATINGS WERE HIGH BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW A SOLE THAT WATCHED IT. WELL TODAYS,SUN TIMES ANWSERED MY QUESTION "TRUTHFULLY" ABOUT THE RATINGS AND A WHOLE LOT OF OF OF OTHER THINGS.WHY DON'T YOU CLOSE THE BLOG DOWN

I LOVED this show. I couldn't wait every week to see what was gonna happen on the show. I'm sad to hear that Oprah didn't want to bring it back again.

In looking thru the O blogs I noticed there wasn't barely any comments,i heard a news caster on a cable network say everyones afraid to say a bad thing about Oprah,so I figure if there were bad comments maybe there not accepted, but wheres the good ones????? I for one don't believe the show went over that well. I've written to Oprah in the past for certain things not even a reply.but someone I know needed medical help and i thought maybe this person being a child she could help.not even a reply.......I tried her connection the amazing Dr. Oz since he's on her website nothing, nobody i know watched the show and i do believe if it was doing so great it would of stayed on....what else would the pres. of abc say...........
