Northwestern's injury report lists backup receiver Mike Jensen and backup safety Jimmy Hall as "out" for Saturday's game against South Dakota at Ryan Field. Sophomore cornerback Daniel Jones is "doubtful."

The nature of the injuries and how long each player might be out was not disclosed.

Jensen played in each of the first three games and had one catch for 14 yards.Hall played in two games and had two tackles.

Jones was competing for the starting job held by senior Demetrius Dugar, according to coach Pat Fitzgerald, who said Monday the cornerback spot opposite redshirt freshman Nick VanHoose was up for grabs this week. Quinn Evans has been the third cornerback for the first three games and is also competing for the spot.

Jones has played in all three games and had two tackles and a pass broken up in Saturday's victory over Boston College.
