John Shurna may have started out 0-for-3 against Minnesota Saturday at Welsh-Ryan Arena, but he came alive in the last 3:40 of the first half, scoring 12 consecutive points for the Wildcats. Shurna is only four points shy of tying Billy McKinney's record of 1,900 career points, and five away from owning the school's career scoring record outright.
At halftime, NU leads Minnesota 36-28.
