The roof at Reliant Stadium in Houston is closed for the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Even though Saturday morning's heavy fog lifted about 90 minutes before game time, an official said the roof is closed because the grass field needs to be protected for Sunday's Texans-Titans game and too many shadows may affect the ESPN telecast.
