Before Friday's practice at Welsh-Ryan Arena, the Wildcats received some good news when forward John Shurna was cleared to practice, albeit without contact. Shurna suffered a concussion at Minnesota Jan. 26 and sat out for a week. He should see some playing time against Illinois Saturday.
