Carmody signs extention with Northwestern

Northwestern men's basketball coach Bill Carmody signed a multi-year extension to stay with the school, Carmody announced Monday. Carmody said the deal had been finalized before the season started in November.
Carmody is in his 11th season at Northwestern after coaching at Princeton. He is 242-192.
