Northwestern forward John Shurna makes progress

After spraining his left ankle in a non-conference win over Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 23, NU leading scorer John Shurna was able to practice Wednesday for the first time this week. This bodes well for the Wildcats' chances at Purdue on Friday when they open Big Ten play against the Boilermakers.
