Firefighters extinguished a small electrical fire in the basement of the Chicago History Museum Tuesday night in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The "small electrical fire" started just before 9 p.m. in the basement of a building at 1601 N. Clark St., according to a Fire Media Affairs spokesman.
