Our hearts goes out to his Family&his Fire House Family that we suffer the loss of one of our Chicago finest. This is the ultimate sacrifice of LIFE that is made when they do their jobs,no one should sit around and analyze the work they do and what ever the so call PERKS that was front page and the Suntimes statements being made about their JOBS,what they recieved is never worth what they go through doing their JOBS! from a wife of a Fireman for 33 years of service in Chicago.

I am sorry that I was not able to attend I am in Anna,Illinois about 8 hours away. I appreciate and wish to say Thank You Capt. Herbert Johnson is someone to be proud of. I am David Ladd 's brother Mark.
