Earlier this afternoon, the City Council took a quick break during their budget hearings for lunch and according to his Twitter feed, it looks like Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd) was in charge of ordering lunch and decided to have a little fun with Ald. Proco "Joe" Moreno (1st). Reilly ordered a slew of Chick-Fil-A for the council members, the fast food chain that Moreno has been fighting for a space in his ward due to the chain's donations to religious organizations that oppose gay marriage. Reilly tweeted the above photo showing he's having a bit of fun with Moreno over the food choice; he then posted a photo of the council enjoying the chicken. Though Ald. Moreno hasn't responded, the chain's local Twitter feed was quite happy to share in Reilly's joy.
Update: Ald. Moreno has responded on Twitter (and in the comments below) - "Thanks Ald. Reilly, but since I am vegetarian and I don't think homophobia is funny, I'll have to reject your gift."

Thanks Alderman Reilly, but since I am vegetarian and I don't think homophobia is funny, I'll have to reject your gift.
