I would steal Nelson Algren's title 'City on the Make', redo it, and make the motto 'City On The Take'.

My Motto would be "Come with it, Leave without it". Personal property crimes skyrocket here, even on the Lake, where I live. As usual, the City is not focusing on the things that are important to its citzens.

Thanks,

The motto for the City of Chicago should be "Crime does pay and gangs do rein" Mayor Daly has created a city that isn't worth the property taxes you pay. Remember when they wanted the lottery and the money would go to the school system? Weren't we all stupid to vote it in because it goes to the general fund (Daly's mafia boys) and the schools are no better. They took a promising program like bussing and ruined it for the whole city.
I left Chicago 4 years ago and I never looked back. Now it is just a place to visit family but I don't go east of Harlem Ave.
