Beverly Artist Jack Simmerling's watercolor calendar makes a triumphant return after an unfortunate year hiatus.
Ol' Jack is a fixture in Beverly, and the guy you go to for the some of prettiest, least cliche, pictures and postcards of Chicago.
He recently completed ...
a watercolor of the infamous Everleigh Club brothel, probably the most famous whorehouse of the 1900s.
He says he was inspired to paint it after reading Sin in the Second City by Karen Abbott.

I know this isn't the right forum for this, but I just read a Marriotti 24/7 column on Urlacher acting like a baby. And all I have to say is Marriotti is a douche bag with a capital 'D.'
